Our governance and public administration project works to support and strengthen citizen participation and to improve citizens capacity to engage with their governments and institutions to improve accountability. The ability to demand better accountability from government and democratic institutions is critical to improving the lives of citizens. Adili is committed to giving local communities a voice by promoting openness and accountability in government. Adili also works to support local governments in improving the capacity of public sector institutions to deliver services effectively, sustainably and efficiently.
We believe that informed communities are better placed to hold their elected leaders to account. We work with local and national governments to provide training and capacity building in policy development, governance, public participation, and public administration. Though our Adili community forums, we bring discussions on governance to the grassroots.
