Access to Information and Media Development

As part of our Global Health programmes, we work with adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in a bid to bring behavioural change by information is a powerful tool. We work in Media development to support greater access to information, especially to marginalised and isolated communities. We provide practitioner media training for both commercial and community media outlets to ensure greater professionalism and responsibility by those tasked with the responsibility of informing, educating and entertaining.

The Adili media team has been responsible for programmes relating to various facets of communications for development. We have helped set up numerous community Radio stations in the Eastern Africa Region and provided journalism training to support specialised reporting. Our expertise is in Security and Media, Conflict and peace though community radio,  improving public accountability through journalism. Our access to information programmes also involve community theatre projects aimed at reaching
